I am Deepthi, the Cook, Writer & Photographer behind Vegetable Platter

I am from the Silicon City of India Bangalore (Known as Bengaluru now) & I currently live in Seattle with my husband & 2 kids.

Food has always fascinated me right since childhood. Also, thanks to my Dad's transferable job, we have lived in quite a few cities across India & we picked up our love for other local cuisines along the way.

Vegetable Platter is all about recipes that i have learnt mostly from my mother & my mother - in - law. Rest of them are the one's that I try out by improvising the recipes that I get from different sources All the recipes posted here are vegetarian
